bad driving lol

for some reason, my brain was telling me 'don't stir to aggressively or you'll flip the car' so i let it run out (into the gravel) haha.

Only minor stone chips but nothing major, already touched them up :)

You did the right thing, straightening it up and letting it go to be honest.  :happy2:

We've all done it....

Very brave to post videos of your mistakes :congrats:.  Most of us only show the best laps but I think we learn the most from mistakes...
I also think you've done the wright thing.  :congrats:
I love the way the exhaust sounds on upshifts. Really glorious!
One thing I don't really like is the way you move the hands on the steering wheel... From what I learned (from some professional race drivers) that is not the way to do it. First of all, you are using the rally technique but this not the issue (I've seen drivers use rally techniques on track and it worked for them). You are moving both hands on the steering wheel before corner entry. You basically anticipate the turn by moving both hands. I was told (and saw) that this is not correct. You have to change only the right hand for going right and left hand for going left. The other hand should stay at 3 o'clock respectively at 9 o'clock. Hope this helps (otherwise just ignore it ).

As said - well done for sharing your offs - Donington is a great track, but not easy, by any means. I've been twice, and took tuition the second time - really well worth it. Have much greater confidence with the car through the Kraner curves now, but I still find the old hairpin to be a tricky corner...

That said - stupidly managed to spin mine around on the corner leading on to the back straight. God knows how I did that, but the track was wet, cold tyres. I think I was being too severe, then lifted off, and the back came round, which I couldn't catch. Gave me a load more respect for the conditions!!

Am very impressed you got it out of the gravel ok - was there the other weekend for the historic racing festival - I was amazed how deep the gravel felt at the Melbourne hairpin when we trudged through it to watch the karts & Group B rally cars...

You just turned in way too early on both those offs - think you learned from your mistake though as last minutes worth of the vid showed you taking better lines

Never did take my old R round Donny Park. Quite gutted about that  :sad1:

Seemed to spend more time offroading than anything else mate . Seriously though it did seem like you were struggling abit with it and hope I going in the gravel hasn't done too much damage to the paint.

You got much footage with my bro's car included?

not really mate, I've got plenty of me driving properly, it was just funny to post one of me making mistakes haha

Are you seeing Mike anytime soon? I have his part and would save me a journey
