couldn't you use an SD to USB converter, and use the USB port?

Think it was me that posted the thread but yes the headunit is great for the money. I've made a little video here
It has, CD/DVD, SD (which I always use), USB, SatNav, Bluetooth (Music, Calls and Phonebook) and iPod/iPhone. I've listed most things in the video above apart from the iPod/iPhone as I don't use one.

It's a big improvement from stock. To get the best out of the speakers though they really need to be amped. Something I'm looking into doing at the moment :)

Hi
And sat nav works ok ? Sorry for all the questions as want to get it right !
Plug n play from a rcd 300
-
Yes mate Satnav works perfect. I use it quite regularly. It's just a straight swap with your old headunit too apart from the Radio connectors where you need a Fakra adapter as there are two adapters but you can only plug one in. The adapter makes them both into one if you get me :). I've skipped on this though and just plugged one of them in and manage to get most radio stations :)

Is this the newer one:

How does the sound quality compare to aftermarket double din stereos (pioneer, Sony, etc)?
