Title: Display in centre of clocks fading
Post by: Matt24pin on May 18, 2014, 03:02:49 pm: Having a issue with my display in the centre of my clocks in that the edges & corners start to fade to the point where I can barely read the text. It comes and goes but does seem worse since the suns been out a lot and interior is red hot.

Any thoughts?

Post by: Degudodger on May 18, 2014, 04:34:19 pm: The display is fading but thankfully it is a fairly easy fix. find another cluster on ebay, it doesn't have to be exactly the same as long as you are replacing the same same screen (Midline for Midline etc) or take the opportunity to upgrade to a Highline if yours isn't already.

And yeah the last couple days 22/23 degrees they've been awful. But 11pm once cooled down they're clear and bold as anything no fade at all

If its 2 small screen with a plastic bar through the middle its midline if its just one large screen then its highline.

Seems to me like it seems to be a common theme with the midlines at the moment. My car is an 06 with a midline.
