Title: Newish member - found a car

Joined recently whilst hunting for a mk5 gti. After considering the mods that i wanted to do etc, i finally decided to buy an ED30.

Bought it 2 weeks ago
Tornado red, 5dr DSG with 79k miles with fully documented history inc. gearbox ecu
Its in near perfect condition and is great fun.

I bought it for the wife to use but i have to admit to stealing it a few times due to the shear fun.
It was 100% standard for about 12 hours of my ownership.
Now it has MRC Tuning engine and gearbox maps, H&R springs, 3" catless DP and TTRS front brakes
I have a THS intercooler on order and need to make an intake kit. Then decided which exhaust to go for. Not sure i like the sound of the Milltek. Then it will be back to MRC Tuning for a stage 3 map to get the best from it.

Have to say i didnt think i was going to like it this much! My other car is a supercharged B7 RS4 and the golf is more fun! At this rate i may end up with his and hers ED30's!

Welcome mate, so much fun for the money are Edition 30's. :worthless:
