Just a couple of pics of my new toy. Im not very good with a camera, so excuse the poor shots!
It was 100% stock when i bought it but i have done a few mods over the last 2 weeks, with more in the next few weeks when parts arrive.

Excuse the sh*te tyres, im doing my best the shred them. Previous owner had fitted them the week before sale, so they have loads of tread :(

Update:
To say I have fallen in love with car would be an understatement. IT IS AMAZING FUN!!
A few things have been changed on the car. It was stg1 MRC Tuning mapped with DSG map too. This did a safe 300PS. Since then it has undergone a few more tweaks.
TTRS front brakes
H&R springs and wheel spacers
Auto light switch (very important!)
Full turbo back Milltek with decat
THS Front mount intercooler
Neuspeed P flow intake kit
Golf R intake cam
Stg2 MRC Tuning remap
Next Wednesday it's going on the rollers again to see how it's doing. After that it's getting some more.
Intake manifold runner delete
Carbon clean
HPFP kit, as fuel limit is reached with stg2 software
Then back on the rollers for custom stg3 map on Thursday with some luck.

Nice

Very nice mate
-
Looks nice this mate
-
Car looks very tidy - great spec too!
Out of interest - what make are the tyres, as I can't make it out in the pic? Mine came with horrendous tyres on the front too - Linglongs. They were changed the first weekend after I bought the car!
-
Lmao. It has Kaisers on the front and BCT's on the back. They are lethal. Will be changing them after the dyno session. Should hopefully kill them off doing that!
-
Very nice :happy2: Lovely colour
-
Well, with its base map, it did 330ps 485nm.
Today it's having pump kit, carbon clean and manifold de flapped. Then back on dyno later or tomorrow for its stg3 map
-
Sounds as though it's running strong - what was the result of the latest work?
Also, what's involved in the carbon cleaning you mention? I know the TFSI's get a bit gunked up, so I've got this niggling in the back of my mind that I'll need to sort it on mine at some point...

Take a look!

Did you do the cleaning? Where are you based?
-
What gains are you expecting from the Golf R inlet cam?
Not seen this mod done before :popcornsoda:
-
I did the cleaning myself. I'm based in Yeovil, Somerset. I did the cleaning at MRC Tuning (good friends with owner), so that I could see the gains (if any) and also to get its stg3 map.
The inlet cam was used as the fuel pump lobe has higher lift. Was hoping to not do a hpfp kit, but as I'm pushing the car as far as I can, it was done (pump kit) for safety. The cam was 5-6 hours with doing belt at same time and the cam is about £265+vat! But it gave me the chance to check cam pulleys and chain etc.
Will post results later next week once it's all finished and dyno tested

Looks mint chap. Have a soft spot for TR golf's
-
nice mate, what size spacers are you using???
-
12mm on the front and 15mm on the rear
-
Love the look of the TT RS brakes! :happy2:
