Press the "Tone" button on the left hand side, and it brings up the menu for bass, treble, etc.
Second setting down on the list (touchscreen) is for balance and fader. Select this, and it brings up a picture of four car seats with a target cursor centred over it, and 4 cursor keys to the left. Either use the cursor keys to move to target on the seat pictorial, or use the target itself. Touch screen control.
Edit: Pinched a pic from google....

If other sources like your radio or music on sd card play correctly L&R then I would suspect a wiriing issue.
-
btw can you actually access the fader screen?
-
Hi mate,
I can access it, I moved the curser around to bang in the centre of the car (pictured on the RNS) didn't make any difference :sad1:
-
Is your aux in an ipod or cd changer?
-
I'm not sure :ashamed: I'll ask the question mate.
Could this be the cause ?
-
Assuming your 510 is an upgrade from a second generation head unit (rcd 300 or 500) and your aux is a dock in the middle arm rest then you may need to change a pin position in the wiring socket.

If I started messing with all them wires and pins my car would turn into a microwave or ticking time bomb :rolleye: damn it lol
