Title: Rear speaker install
Post by: TeighlorD7 on May 21, 2014, 10:50:58 pm
Was just wondering if anyone could possibly help me out . I have a golf mk5 s , so therefore it has no rear speakers. I've already fitted my amp and subwoofer and have bought rear speakers to install also. My problem is the wiring harness into the radio , what would be the best route for physically connecting the speakers ? Can you connect them to the existing harness ?

 Thanks for any help

If your loom lacks the pins, I suppose the easiest way would be to take the pins from a generic Quadlock plug and put them in your car loom plug, then solder/connect your new speaker wire into the length(s) of wire you just installed

I do actually have another quad lock connector my brother bought from halfords and he suggested doing the same . I'll give it a try thanks .

I've already went to the bother of buying the speakers , adaptors and also a trim piece my car was missing as it didn't have them factory fitted . It would be a shame to stop now haha
