Title: Door hinge grease?

I'm looking at cleaning my door shuts as they are minging and looking at keeping them clean by washing them with something like af citrus power every time I wash the car to keep on top of them, what grease will I need to apply once washed?

That's good stuff, comes out with a solvent so it gets into the hinge fully then as the solvent evaporates it leaves behind grease.

I did mine recently. Wash thoroughly, displace any water with wd40 then grease well.

I use spray grease for milking parlours. I think it's lithium grease.

Cheers people just popped down to halfords and got the exact one as posted also some wd40 to shift the water from the hinges (that what I guessed you ment).

Just wondering of you who clean your door shuts how often do you clean the shuts? Do you clean the hinges every time you clean the door shuts? Just out of interest  :happy2:

I do door shuts once a month or so. Hinges only when the grease gets dirty, about once a year.

Yep. The WD is to get rid of any water prior to greasing. :)
