Title: DELL Laptop - which is best?
Post by: BeezerDiesel on May 25, 2014, 01:50:10 pm
To cut a very long boring story short my eldest son was bought a DELL 15R touchscreen laptop for his 18th that I managed to get heavily discounted via lots of stackable vouchers through a hotukdeals thread.

So, youngest son is now approaching 16 and wants an identical laptop to his brother's which unfortunately can't be had for anywhere near the budget we have. He's going to put some of his savings and money from other relatives towards it to make up the £££ so budget is going to be about £450 I guess.

These two caught my eye, so which is best or can anyone suggest a better option? (touchscreen vital as he's a teenager!!!!)

Any advice hugely appreciated

Can't see the Outlet one but I've had an XPS-15 from there for 3 years and it's still going strong.   :happy2:

+1. Great laptop. Only fault i found was not opting for the FULL HD Screen. I installed an SSD in mine about a year ago and it is rapid.

Yes mine gained an SSD and some extra memory and it's perfect.
