Title: Upgrade stereo or back to original spec
Post by: AlexHxC on May 25, 2014, 07:09:30 pm
Right so I've got a 07 gt tdi 170 and it used to have the rns dab mfsw and blue tooth, however the guy who I bought it from removed it all now it only has an rcd310 and a dsg steering wheel

My question is do I replace everything or go aftermarket that has everything? Just annoys me as it's not the spec it came with

Any info you can give me will be great

Cheers guys

I'd go back to original spec with an OEM VW unit. You'll have all the wiring in place so should be an easy install. Aftermarket units don't suit these too well IMO as they look a bit out of place in the interior.

I agree, mine came with aftermarket unit and I really don't like it, it stands out too much
