Title: Random Revving ??

Hi all,

I have had my 07 GTI for nearly a month now and have noticed that now and again (happened about 4 times) when I turn the ignition the car will randomly rev upto about 2-3k rpm and then settle back down again. No other snags while driving and after it has been started it doesn't do it again ? Any ideas guys ??

Had the same priblem last year it will only get worse, mine was everytime I came to a coast
Pcv revamp seems the best route
