Title: standard GTI exhaust onto GT Sport

Hi could anyone help me out with this, i have a 08 plate GT sport and have bought a 07 plate GTI exhaust to fit to it. Firstly can i just extend the pipe at the cat end so it can fit my front pipes? and secondly if so how long does the extra pipe need to be and what diameters? an help will be greatly appreciated.

I went to the local exhaust fitters who attached the back box for £20 :happy2:

thanks that's what i will do as a last resort but would prefer to keep the exhaust whole without cutting the back box off if i can.
