Title: GTI Pirelli Seats
Post by: Sparkie90 on May 28, 2014, 10:43:06 pm
Hi guys,
Considering the merits of a Pirelli model and just wondered about the seats - are they comfortable or can you feel the tread pattern when you sit on them!? They look great but just thinking about long journeys...

I tried a Pirelli before my ED30 - couldn't tell any difference to the feel of the seat fabric.

Going for a test drive would help your decision.

Sat in a Pirelli and whilst the seat backing is different in feel compared to the ED30, it wasn't any way uncomfortable.

Having done over 40k miles in mine, I can report that the feel of the seat fabric is no different to any other fabric. It is a soft microbibre and you do not feel the fabric pattern even when wearing shorts. Similar to the ED30, the leather bolsters give it a bit of class and the fabric seats are more practical than full leather in heat and cold

Great thanks all that's good to know - shouldn't be an issue then.  Just got to find a Pirelli to test drive now!
