Title: New member from Essex/London
Post by: Ricardo on June 03, 2014, 10:15:58 pm
Hi im Ricardo,

I drive a MK5 Golf 1.6 Fsi SE - I know this is a GTI website but seems to be the best forum for us MK5 drivers! Im 19 and drove a Fiesta MK6 previous (best decision to upgrade). I live in Essex (Rainham) and quite into the cruise scene so you'll see me @ a lot of meets! Basically i picked up the car about 3 week's ago car was completely standard except the R32 alloys.  Been low on money so been keeping it simple with the mods! Just got a new job so will be able to concentrate on the car more!

I know you've obviously just paid out for a hid kit but the osram nightbreaker unlimited + and the Phillips xtreme visions are really good bulbs mate for light output and most on here run with them.

Hid in reflector headlamps blind everyone  :signLOL: what's your beams pattern like mate?

Not that bad mate, and haven't really looked into them i had HID's on my fez so it was one of the first things i brought and no ones flashed me yet or complained i have pointing towards the floor to sort of prevent it blinding people
