Title: Cam follower part number,

Going to change this, as ive read a few threads about them wearing, so does anyone know the part number?
Mines a 05 gti
Any symptoms or signs of it going
And how much do the followers cost cheers

Do it as soon as you can, they're 35 quid tops. The lad that bought my old gti didn't and it's eaten the cam & hpfp!

No mention of mine being done in the history so had it done when I bought the car. 93k in standard tune & this was mine

This one was at stage 5, no material left in the end of the follower.  Cam is like a 50p piece and the end of the pump is well munched.

It threw up the engine light with a code for low pressure over2 weeks ago and he just ignored it!!!

Changed mine a few weeks ago, I'm on 70k, no mention of it being done before but it was still in really good condition.  :smiley:

Might depend on how its driven?
