Post by: cuprak1 on October 22, 2009, 03:07:19 pm
The turb as on the cupra/ed30/s3

i think revo stage 2 is taking this turbo to like 19-20 psi (1.35 bar) maybe even more..

but what is the known figure if any ?

Mine is around 23psi peak boost, dropping back to 21psi and then tailing off over 6k rpm to 17.7psi at 7200 change up.

The stock ecu can only cope with pressures up to around 24psi, so you won't see any boost logs over 1.8bar. The K04 is pretty well maxxed out by this and you ultimate power will start to drop off at the redline if you try to sustain too high a boost through the rev range.

John as ever is correct  :happy2:
isnt the MAF limit 24 psi for detection by the ECU ?

Stage 1 APR is around 21 peak fwiw
