Title: Drivers door won't unlock with fob.

As title really. Its only the drivers side doesn't open inless i use the key.

Everything else works and its only started doing it.

Any ideas ?

 i had this and had to have lock changed by vw in the end , you can do it yourself but bit of a job

it still unlocks when i use key though. So dont think its the locks. Must be somthing electric, some sort of module ?

Had the same problem with mine which turned out to be a broken can bus wire in the door loom. Easy to fix if not a bit time consuming.

Had the same problem with mine and it didn't recognise the drivers door had been or was open..
New lock solved it.. Glad it wasn't a module as there was non in the country at the time, and it was still under warrantee..

Its just started working today so god knows what was wrong.

dont get caught out mine played up , then ok for a while , then played up again

Going to get it checked out anyway. Need aircon checked aswell think then pressure switch sensor seal or switch itsself is gone.
