Title: New GTI MK5 owner in Southampton
Post by: Biscuit on June 08, 2014, 07:52:49 pm
Hello all

Just sold my E46 M3 this morning  :sad1:
But have been looking for a nice Mk5 GTI 5 door for a while due to needing a sensible car as my wife and I are expecting our first child.
So we set off out this afternoon and put a deposit on a metallic grey 58 plate manual 5 door with full black leather (read wipe clean)
And most importantly in immaculate condition.
I pick the car up on Friday.
I am very excited but I have a few questions, so, the first being, which company would you choose for a remap?
Which manufacturer for a cat back exhaust?
And lowering springs?
And induction kit?

So, hello again to all and I look forward to your responses and spending some time on this forum.  :happy2:

Welcome mate, the GTI is a great car you wont regret it.

Remaps - R-tech/Revo/goAPR
Cat backs - BCS/Milltek/Scorpian
Lowering springs - H&R/Eibach
Induction kits - ITG/Forge twintake/Evoms

How did you find living with the m3?
