Evening.
I've just bought a MDI interface for my car, as I'm sick of CD's everywhere - however, have told the seller to hold on from posting until I find out a bit more.
My car has the RCD 300 unit with the 10 speakers/door tweeters/ MFS/CD changer under arm rest.
Is my head unit compatible with a MDI dock, if I switch it out for the CD stacker?
Thank you.

Anyone?

Just found this forum link.
This person is asking about upgrading his/her head unit from a RCD300 WITH an existing MDI running as a CD player under armrest.

Does this mean I'm ok to go?

Have also just found this:

I do believe the mdi will only work with a third generation head unit like the rcd/rns 510 and rns315...
