Hi Guys,
Car = My 07 Golf GTI
I have been having a problem with my ECP light and also my ESP light switching on simultaneously. This would send my car into a limp mode, and was almost like I'd lost boost. The trouble was I hadn't a diagnostic scanning tool available to me, and every time I switched my car off for a short while (1 hour or so) the lights would go off.
I managed to borrow a code reader from my uncle, and the lights popped up again tonight on a drive. When the light switched on I pulled over and plugged it in. I was given the following reading -
- P0221 - Throttle / Pedal Position Sensor / Switch B Circuit Range / Performance/
Any idea of what this may be? and what I may need to do to fix the issue?
Cheers,
Faz

Now it might be the TB at fault but it's highly likely but I would suggest getting the car scanned with VCDS before going any further.
