Has anyone successfully added DAB to the RNS510 B stereo.
Seen a few companies offering a fully integrated system as below so was wondering if anyone had used them managed to do something similar themselves.

Dam its sold already, thanks though

Might be cheaper and will certainly be a better result, if you sold the RNS and bought a DAB one. No daft remote controls to bugger about with, all you need is an aerial (not the stick on type that satnavsystems are selling), and fully integrated solution. £300 should get you there easy.

agreed, I would prefer an OEM solution as above.
Do you use the sat nav much? if not sell it
An rcd510 DAB would be about £220 used.....
-
I have got as tom tom so can use that but I do like how the Nav is integrated into the high line.
Will check eBay prices out.
Is there a recommendation on what revision RCD510 to get?

got mine from turbo herbie

they are ebay outlet for

they fit new nav systems into vag cars, and then have loads of non-nav DAB units to sell from brand new cars, so probably 2014 stock still with warranty, no worries about ebay Chinese copies ect :drinking:

He has only got RCD310s which I don't think support SD cards, which is important
Will see if he has any RCD510s
-
Yeah I noticed that. I wonder if new vw's come with those as standard?
I would defo want an SD or USB as well.
Email him via ebay.
