Title: Engine /DSG mod options for stock parts (newbie alert!)

Hi all,

I'm getting a 2008 golf GTI DSG done only 9000kms.

I was thinking to search for any engine and DSG mod which can easily work with the stock parts.
I read about MTM and Other ones but I have no experience with either of those.

I'm from New Zealand so not sure if any of those vendors have agents here.

But what do you recommend in terms of ECU remap or piggy back devices for engine and DSG ?

Just to add that I'm not planning to race it on track, just want to make most of what the engine and gearbox can offer . Without causing any damage or excessive wear!

I did more search and seems majority recommend APR stage 1  for engine


Any DSG tuning recommended ? Anyone of them can be done remotely if there is no local dealer?
