Title: Turbo lag
Post by: chris s on June 17, 2014, 09:46:51 pm: I've recently been feeling there is a touch more lag when pulling from low revs... I've changed the dv to rev g and had a bit of a fiddle with the setting 969 at the moment... Does anyone have any ideas about how I can reduce the feeling of lag...? The car pulls strongly after 2500rpm so I'm just looking to smooth the phase where the turbo is spooling ... Ideas greatly received

Post by: Pikey Motorsports on June 17, 2014, 10:08:05 pm: Intercooler and intercooler pipes will help.. The k04 doesnt really suffer with any lag though and would probaly be pritty much impossible to get much boost below 2500rpm

Post by: chris s on June 17, 2014, 10:13:23 pm: Cheers mate I've got the s3 inter cooler and pipes... It's probably just me as I've been doing more motorway miles and keeping it steady so when I go for it I usually have to get over that 2500rpm threshold

Nice signature Rich - you should list all those brands under the wing mirror on each side. All the cool kids do it :rolleye:
