Post by: bushypad on June 18, 2014, 06:02:30 pm
How important is it to bed in new brakes and pads. Just had mine fitted. And what exactly is the correct method?

Depends on what type of pads you have fitted.

I would do a few deceleration runs from 80 to 20 without abs coming into action till you get some brake fade then cool down.

You may find the braking inconsistent as both front and rears have new pads.
