Title: exhaust note

Any idea as to why my exhaust note changes when I put my clutch down on idle? Random I know, but it really bugs me haha

Taking a guess  but does the MK5 have a hydraulic clutch? Could cause the noise to change when the clutch is pressed down.

Yeah it does, but i've had loads of cars with hydro clutches and it haant done this.
