Title: MK6 Golf R error code,rev's up and down on it's own!

When fully warmed up I have the following problem in that at idle the rev's go upto 2000rpm and then a few second's later down to 1000rpm and then doe's the same thing over and over,run's fine with no engine light's or loss of power,on a VCDS scan it came up with the following:-

1 Fault Found:
001287 - Idle Control System RPM
               P0507 - 001 - Higher than Expected. - Intermittent

                    Fault Frequency: 2

Any idea's anyone?Was serviced at VW over a week ago.
