Title: 50mm coilovers on a GTI
Post by: vw99 on June 23, 2014, 01:30:46 pm
Hi guys,

Quick question; Will 50mm fk coilovers such as highsports or silverlines fit a gti with 55mm hubs using jom adapter sleeves?

Cheers

If your buying new coilovers, why would you use JOM adapter sleeves? Just buy the correct kit and it should come with everything required.

They're used coilovers but literally a few months old so a lot cheaper than new

They're off a tdi so the struts are for 50mm, just wanted to find out whether fitting the jom adapter sleeves on them will work to fit 55mm hubs on my gti.

Yes the adaptor things work fine. Used them in my old car when I put the 3.2 V6 A3 hubs on.
