Title: Standard GTI air intake

Does any body know the price and/or part no of the front bit from the bumper to the air filter. Im missing the top piece that makes the air go into the filter.

Found this which is the part I also need. Part number is 1K0805965C9B9

Will find out how much it costs tomorrow when I go to my local VW dealer.

Just rang up an ordered one as he said it was just under £4.. Ring your local dealer and give them the part number and just tell them it's for the air intake to guarantee it's the right part :happy2:

I was gonna say I have this part in the shed (well I'm sure I have lol)

Seen as though it's so cheap you may as well buy from the dealers

Bit awkward to try describe this but where this part goes on the top.. Before you put this part on and look at the back edge.. Is there meant to be a panel there too? Or is that meant to be open at the back to let cool air I to the engine bay aswell as the engine?.. Hope that makes sense.. If now I'll get a picture and try upload it later

How did you get on fitting the part mines getting cv joint sorted at the min so havent got it yet

Going to fit it tomorrow as I'm waiting to fit the engine cover I have too. Will let you know how I get on tomorrow night

£3.96 on back order so have to wait until tuesday
