Title: Opinions please - Red GTI Front Badge or OEM Silver???

Anybody care to voice their opinions on the red GTI front badge versus the OEM silver one.

I changed mine last night to see how I feel about it but I don't think I like it.

Honest opinions please!

I bought the same red badge thinking that it looks nice with the masks red stripe. After installing it looked ugly. Voting silver

on grey I think silver but on black with a black VW badge red looks cool.

Also varies depending on if you're running with or without the front VW badge. Think silver with VW badge, red without.

Nothing wrong with having a red badge I don't think, makes a change and suits some colour combinations.

What I'm not keen on though is the strange shape of the G and the crooked T  :confused:

I was looking at these last night amd nearly ordered but my golf is black. Personally I think the silver looks better on youra mate.

Think ill order the red after seI g the picture of it on a black car.  :happy2:

I was thinking to get the red one for my white GTI.the font on this one looks a bit weird.

So I took the red badge back off last night. As 'MikLSP' stated, the T was crooked and the actual badge was slightly smaller than the original.

Even if the badge was genuine and fit properly I really didn't like the look of it.
