Title: Does Anyone have a standard locking wheel nut I could borrow or buy?
Post by: anduhchunkymonkey on June 24, 2014, 06:09:54 pm
Hello!
Today I went to book my car in to get it lowered next Wednesday and also for them to look at my handbrake, I was told that the cable had snapped on one side and he was kind enough to put it on the ramp to take a look at it but when he asked for the locking wheel nut I couldn't find it, turns out I've misplaced it somewhere when i went to put the new wheels on!  :stupid: It's the genuine size wheel nut for a 2006 golf mk5 gt tdi and it's booked in for next Wednesday, so could anyone help me out and let me borrow or buy there's I'm based in Huntingdon near Cambridge

I think there's about 10-12 different spline ones your local dealer should carry a full set and will remove it for you normally free in the hope you'll buy a replacement set
