Title: Genuine GTI bumper vs non gen?

Im looking at getting the GTI bumper for my TDI, however i see some people are saying definitely go for genuine, whys this ? Also what would i need along with the bumper for it to all fit?

Genuine is finished better and already perfectly primed. Non genuine will have all sorts of blemishes and plastic cut lines not cleaned off.

You get what you pay for. You'll have to modify the number to fit your TDi as the radiator carrier is different. Or you can buy the entire carrier and change that too.

Non genuine will fit straight onto a non-gti without modification, whereas a genuine bumper needs adjustment and different fog lights.
