Title: Suarez.
Post by: swgti on June 26, 2014, 11:04:32 am
What do you reckon, will he get the book thrown at him or will FIFA as always bottle it when it comes to making a stand?

As gifted a player as he is he clearly needs help and if left unpunished it's only a matter of time before his next incident.

I would like to think, that, given his disciplinary and biting history that they have no choice but to act and throw a stern punishment his way.
Given that last one was ten games from the FA (the Bran Ivanovic incident), surely it's got to be more than that this time?

He's a talented footballer no doubt, but he's clearly mentally unstable or marked in some psychological way! South American small rat syndrome?!

rat boy needs a severe ban! but i couldn't give a rats if he gets off scott free because footy is over rated and is governed in appalling fashion so what will be new?

I expect FIFA will bottle it with an international ban of only 5 to 10 games

He had his last chance the second time he bit another human being on the sports field. I can't believe we are talking about a professional sports person and adult biting someone.

Football authorities should expel the little scrote but we all know that will not happen because they think they are immune from normal behaviour

This is it mate! Toddlers in the playground stuff.

Like Giorgio Chiellini (the Italian defender that LS bit) said, FIFA are unlikely to remove a top player that helps to attract revenue and crowds for too long, if at all.

Terrible state of affairs - someone very soon is going to take a nasty lunge at Suarez, I can see a Roy Keane/Alfe Inge Haaland situation developing  :popcornsoda: :popcornsoda: :popcornsoda:

If i Bit someone id expect to be arrested for assault...If I had bitten 3 people on different occasions I'd expect to be infront of a judge.

Why is he still walking round? Minimum he should be banned from football, and made to pay damages to which ever team he plays for.

(I know zero about football btw  )

The buck toothed racist c*nt should be banned for life and have his teeth pulled out by Chiellini while Evra and Ivanovic hold him down. No place in life, let alone football, for wa*kers like him.

His agent is blaming England and Italy for pressurising FIFA while Uruguay’s FA suggested that pictures of teeth-marks on Chiellini’s shoulder were digitally altered.

With no one near him EVER (and that includes Liverpool) coming forward to publicly denounce his behaviour he will never learn. Wa*ker.

To put in to perspective Cantona got a 9mth worldwide ban and 120hrs community service for Kicking someone once (admittedly it was a flying kick into a fan).

Suarez gets caught biting someone for the THIRD time and gets a 4mth ban? :stupid:

He should be made to wear a gum shield

Also, if someone did that to me on the pitch and had previous, I would use more than my elbow on him. Someone has already mentioned that another player will serious smash him if he tried to bite again

A leopard doesn't change its spots. I personally was disgusted he picked up so many awards this year. He has proven himself to be scum and should have been ostracised from the footballing community a long time ago. What is worse is Uruguay trying to defend him. Appeals can go both ways and if Uruguay do appeal I think FIFA should increase the ban. Sadly I doubt that will happen - football players are untouchable nowadays it seems.

apparently Evra voted for him as player of the year because he must be big enough to have put it behind him and base don last years from only he voted for him

This is why I don't follow football, fickle leadership, fickle fans. It doesn't matter how much of an arrogant, racist scumbag you are as long as you score a few goals during a season all seems to be forgotten.

Does that mean then that as Uru-greasey-bastuds flopped out, that his 'per game' ban will essentially rule him out of more Liverpool games (or whichever club he's at if he moves in summer)? i.e. if Uru-grease had of stayed in the competition longer, it would've kept him out of those games and slightly lesser club games

Bloody hilarious if so, Liverpool can play their favoured victim role even more

FIFA have banned him, so that means he's banned from international matches.  The ban doesn't extend to domestic league matches as he wasn't playing under premiership authority when it happened. Although they may possibly have something to say later on. The ban on football activity will hold him out of playing for 4 months anyway.

Na, it will apply to domestic leagues wherever he's contracted, be it Liverpool or elsewhere.

It's a global ban from all football, he's 100% banned from some Liverpool games - I was curious as to whether that means he'll miss more, rather than perhaps less if Uru-grease progressed.

That's what I said. However, to quantify...

FIFA have banned him for 9 international matches. That's the only match ban that has been handed out. However they have also banned him from all football activity for 4 months, and during those 4 months he will miss nine league matches, three Champions League matches and one League Cup tie, according to the link you provided. But he hasn't been banned as such from those matches, simply he's unable to perform any football activity while those matches are scheduled to be played in the 4 months. If any of those matches are postponed and then rescheduled outside of his 4 month ban, then he can play in them.

So the FIFA games are numbered per match, but the domestic stuff is by calendar, which it what I was asking

I'm sure Liverpool still have their top 4 finish excuse cards ready  :P :jumpmove:
