Title: Are these NGK plugs both the same and correct?

NGK BKR7EIX -as mentioned in Nology plugs thread by Alex and

NGK PFR7S8EG

Bought the 8EG ones as they seemed to be the same as the VW part number quoteds in the "common parts" thread but then relaised they were different to the ones quoted by Alex  :confused:

any clarification much appreciated

The BKR are Iridium tip Andy, the others are the OEM plugs

Will do the same job  :happy2:

cheers, for quick reply James me old china  :drinking:

on another note after putting the new plugs in tonight i still have misfire - stuttering uner load, so my guess is nology plugs coiuld have caused a coilpack to fail but dont want to change coilpacks to find could be an injector/fuel pump

I've been having misfire problems of late also, I swapped plugs, still there, swapped out the coilpacks as I had spares and seems to have done the job  :rolleye:

I'd try coilpacks if I where you mate, have you got spares you know are good?

No idea, but it ain't gonna be cheap  :fighting:

I've got a spare here, I'll fire it over to you if you can hold on a couple of days  :happy2:
