Title: Intake manifold flap motor???
Post by: mk4gti-t on June 30, 2014, 01:09:57 pm
My intake flap motor is knackered and needs replacing but cant find the exact same part number on ebay etc...

Do i need to fit 06F133482 or can i use one of the others i've found for sale, say 06F133482C?

Does the letter at the end mean anything or is it just an updated part?

Cheers.

If your Intake manifold flap motor has a letter on the end of its part number then you should get the latest "E" revision. If it has no letter on the end then you need the same part number.

It's important as your can't complete basic setting with vcds with the wrong version installed.

Thanks for that mate. Can I get the part number off vcds or do I need to get they knackered part off to read the number?
