Title: TerraClean... worth doing?????

took my car to book in a stage 1 today and they offered me a terraclean aswel as part of a deal...is it any good? costs an extra £75 on top of the map
anyone had it done?

The normal terraclean will more than likely clean your fuel lines and exhaust back, maybe whatever else the treatment fluid passes through.
But.....

They do a special type for the TFSI engine, how good it is, i'm not to sure, have heard of people having misfires, then having the new type of terraclean done, now no misfires !

Would be good to hear if anyone else has had the new type of terraclean done?

I'll maybe have a go at it and see if there is any difference after!

It can only do some cleaning.

Do it yourself  :happy2:  Lots of videos on youtubes using just water squirted down the intake. The water boils and effectively steam cleans your engine. Really thinking about trying this out on my daily diesel  :scared:

ive just been doing some googling and theres nothing that says its particularly positive, cant do any harm but no one seems to be that impressed with the results!
i dont think id try and do it myself though mate... im no mechanic so wouldnt fancy taking a risk at something like that  :scared:
