Title: sell privately or trade in

im looking at upgrading my car and wonder shall i trade it in with the dealer or sell it privately

also if i trade it in shall i take the 18 inch monza's off and refit the original alloys and remove the RCD510 DAB and put the original back in and sell separately

its a 2.0l GT TDI with 124000 on the clock, good service history

also what could i expect to get for the car and selling the wheels and radio separately

Usually get more money selling privately as most dealers wouldn't pay extra for modifications such as DAB or Monza alloys they will pay you what a 2.0 GTTDI is worth TRADE with that mileage, but then again what PX deal has the dealer offered you? As sometimes they will offer you a great deal to get the sale.

im off to a dealer later to see a 60 plate A4 estate

going to see what offer they give me

wondered if i took the wheels and radio out could i get maybe 500 for them ??

Are your 18" Monzas genuine and whats condition like not forgetting tyre tread? Not sure on what RCD510 DAB are worth used best checking eBay.

tyres great

wheels need a refurb as have some scraps curbing etc but nothing serious
