Title: MK6 Interior into a MK5? Anyone done it?

Looking at putting a MK6 interior into a MK5. Front and Rear seats, and doorcards.
Anybody know how if it works?
Anybody done it before?
Any help would be grateful.

seats will fit

door cards won't unless they come from a mk6 estate (front one might need a bit of modding)

I just put mk6 gtd seats in my 05 gti
I had to change the airbag connector but I guess that is because of my year

I forgot to mention, my MK5 is a 3 door and so is the MK6. Im happy about the seats then, but doorcards wont work?

they won't fit

the grab handles and speakers are in different locations

also the dash wont line up with how the door cards are shaped

Found someone who's done it, looks incredible! I'd love to do something similar as it totally transforms interior of the car  :drool:
