Hi
I get my GTI serviced every year at a main dealer local to Bexley, this year I'm due another major service car has only done 33k, I alternate between minor major every year and was wondering if I needed to have a major service (recommended by main dealer) as I only had a minor last year.
Thanks

I dont think you need a major serice every other year mate. I've only had one and I'm on 66K. You generally only need an oil and oil filter change and inspection each year. I think my major only included new spark plugs and air filter. Other than that, its only really cambelt, brake fluid and air-con service you need to think about.

Hi
Had the cambelt done last year. Not 100% sure but think break fluid extra was included in the major I had 2 years ago will check with sheet extra they give me.
Thanks :happy2:

No worries. Brake fluid needs changing every two years, so you might want to get that done again anyway.
