I am thinking to replace the existing continental contact 2 tyres with something at same or better quality but don't want to spend too much.
What brands and types do you recommend ?
Is it worth to buy second hand tyres or better get them new ?
Thanks

Buy new,
Michelin pilot sport 3
Goodyear eagle F1
Pirelli P Zero
Vredestein sessanatas
Uniroyal RS2
All good tyres. Goodyear & Michelin probably the most popular but also most expensive.

Awesome thanks :)

The Michelin Pilot Sport 3 is a really excellent tyre but I have just ordered a set of Goodyear Eagle F1 Asymetric 2 as they get comparable reviews to the Michelin and were £76 each for 94Y XL as opposed to about £95 for the Michelin. I've had my Goodyear's on for around 3 months now. Paid £385 for all four corners to be done and i can honestly say they are spot on both wet and dry road.

I keep looking for F1 . Does it come in different variation ? I'm looking for something with good handling and low noise
What about Bridgestone sporty style my02 or Potenza Re002? Are these any good ?
What's the difference between directional and asymmetric in terms of driving and comfort ?
