Alright guys,
Want to free up my exhaust system but cant really afford to change the whole system right now.
I have thought about removing the pre cat and then having a cat removed? Are there any other options without replacing the entire system?
(On an edition 30 by the way)
Cheers
Chris

Smash the pre cat internals out then get a bcs cat back

Twin Scroll K04 are better at keeping EGT's lower than K03 --- K04 can run 280+ bhp Stage 1 without the need of a larger unrestricted DP, check the EGT's running a K03 at anywhere near that power with pre-cat in-place. :scared:
That said, removing the pre-cat can only be a good thing for lowering EGT's on both K04 and K03.
You could look out for a standard system on ebay or on here, and smash out both pre-cat and cat for some extra flow.

As stated getting rid of the pre cat internals is a good cheap move :happy2:

Cheers guys
Going to get the precat removed and look into simply removing a cat to free it up a tad and get a tiny bit of noise.
how much is a bcs cat back? Anyone got a video of one and how it sounds?

There's various videos on YouTube mate. They do several different systems give them a ring.
A lot of lads on here rave about there exhausts.

It you want to free it up for performance then just get a 3" downpipe
