When I purchased my car I opened the boot to find a piece of plastic had been cracked off.
I figured I could fix it myself down the line but I think I've made too much work for myself.
Anybody have any suggestions on repair?
Or does anyone have a part number for the entire plastic trim so as I could replace it. I think a trip to the scrap yard is in order!

Do you have the cracked off piece as I'm sure a bit of super glue would hold it in place...
-
I wish I did! It was done by the previous owner and she just threw it away :(
-
Mine looks the exact same as yours mate! It annoys me every time I open the boot
-
Mine was the same as that took ages to find a replacement got one about a month ago from here http://www.ebay.co.uk/sch/spares4yourcar/m.html?_nkw=&_armrs=1&_ipg=&_from= On eBay he's not selling any now but had 3-4 a few weeks back so may be worth a message
when I changed mine the broken piece was inside so I glued it back on if your near where I live you can have it if you donate a couple of quid to the forum but wont post sorry
i'll get the part number later when I go in attic Part number : 1K6 863 459 doesn't seem to be a colour letter on it maybe they are all grey ?

So this seems like a common fault! I actually live in Dublin, Ireland so I'm fairly far away unfortunately!

Fantastic!
Did you purchase one yourself? If so, how much are we talking?
-
I haven't mate, just not got round to doing it. Hopefully less than £50 though

Same has happened to mine, doesn't really seem worth fixing though.

That's good value! Does it come off handy enough?

No screws, just pulls off. Give it a good tug
