Title: RNS510 Version F in 2005 GTI

Hopefully someone can help, I need to know if an RNS510 Version F will cause battery drain issues on a 2005 MK5 GTI?

It will unless it's running modified firmware. Best thing is to get the car scanned and see what canbus you have and upgrade that if required

Unless someone has recently changed your gateway you will need a new one.
