Hello, iv got a set of kw v3 coil overs that came of my mates ttrs for a good price, he told me that they will defo fit my mk5 gti? Is this correct, he said will defo because its all the same with the 55mm strut?
Can any1 tell me diffrent or shall i go ahead and fit them?
Thanks

Pretty sure the rears won't as the TT is 4wd?
-
Iv had a few people say that it will fit and some wasnt sure
But i got told that it will all fit but may be stiffer on the rears?
Wanted a few diffrent opinions before i start to strip it down to fit them.
I rang a kw dealer but they wasnt sure

So it should fit then?? Being as both 4wd if s3 fits then the ones of the ttrs should?

I don't know if TTRS is the same... think normal TT is the same if not very similar... but S3 coils fit a Mk5 fine.

Iv been told that s3, golf r, ttrs are all the same so should fit then?

Check the part numbers in the KW catalogue.
They will be different.

That is true Alex however that is more to do with spring weights than fitment.
Golf Mk5 GTI vs 2.0 TDI coilover kits have different part numbers... both fit...

Yeah i get what sone are saying. Think fit them or dont fit them

They will fit, i fitted TTRS OEM springs and dampers to the missus Touran 1T.
Spring rates will be different though, but physically the will fit :happy2:

I do have to say that i wont recommend KW's, as the ride i harsh and the quality of the height adjusters is very poor. :sad1:
