Title: RCD 500 wont skip tracks?

I have a RCD 500 that won't skip tracks on cds.  When I try to skip it will just go right back to the beginning of track 1 even if I try to skip from track 4 to 5.  The only way I can actually get around it is by holding it down it fast forward to the end of the track :(.

Anyone have any ideas?
