Title: My car doesn't like this weather
Post by: bacillus on July 17, 2014, 07:19:00 pm
Feels like I've lost a shed load of power because of this heat...   :sad1:

I know what you mean mate, drove home from work this morning and it was quite cold so the car felt lush

drove back to work tonight and the car felt like I had 3 dead bodies in the boot lol

Can you confirm that your boot is actually empty?

Count yourselves lucky, my 60bhp Kangoo feels desperately slow even in the depths of winter, can barely get away from its own shadow in this heat!

I shall never hear a bad thing said against a French vehicle again. Outstanding.

4 years, 110k miles and every one on the limiter and apart from an outrageous thirst for discs and pads (60 horses plus 1800kg = only slowing at the last nano second) it's never missed a beat, so much for cheap French cars eh?  :happy2:

French diesels have always been excellent tbh.

My old 106 diesel was a tough old cookie

WMI really is awesome in the summer months. Air intake temps showing 10Âșc below ambient with little to no drop in performance for me
