Wondered if anyone had this kit, if any difference was made, how easy to fit and worth buying??

I would take a guess at unless you're running seriously modified turbo and performance then they're overkill.

I think these are a good mod for anything over stage 2. The discharge pipe is quite restrictive if i remember correctly, it narrows and bend in op point.
Are them pipes a no make cheapy brand? As i think the Neuspeed ones go for a bit more than that.

More of a supporting mod and as mentioned by Ross it aids the all important flow. Have a look at CTS as both the Throttle body and Discharge pipes can be had for £300 for the pair. IIRC Alex at AKS has been known to fab these up too.
That one on eBay only has a 2" internal diameter, Neuspeed one is 2.25" and the CTS has an internal diameter of 2.5".
:happy2:

You normally on fit a system like this to a seriously powerful car, it will be a little overkill on a golf I think
-
^^^^ Its for a Golf so obviously it's not overkill, as mentioned its more of a supporting mod.

Yeah their overkill, you need 1200hp to run intercooler hardpipes

That's for the TSi engine rather than the TFSi.
They do actually help a little on the TFSi. I usually use the CTS versions.

Its not so much the hard pipe, its more the same diameter all the way from start to finish.
@Alex, i thought the TSI narrowed quite a bit from the turbo side as well, looks like its does from underneath the car?

will this fit the ko4 set up?

What do you mean?

I thnk we are saying the same thing mate. The TSI pipe goes very thin after the turbo and would benefit from this.
