Hey,
Trying to work out what this radio is. The car is a 2007 (07) GTI. Would this have been standard with the car? I think it's a RNS 510 - but not sure at all!
Any opinions on it as well before I go look at the car?

It's not a RNS but a MFD, either a cd or dvd version. I have one like this and it's the dvd based, but all my buttons are black. Hope that helps :happy2:

Yes as above, is a standard vw option sat nav unit.

This maybe a stupid question but whats the difference between the RNS and MFD?

The RNS units are slightly newer, it was just a name change basically. The MFD name used to be interchangeably for the Sat Nav and the multifunction screen between dials.
