anyone know if these will fit ok with 225/40/18 tyres fora mk5 gti and will the fitment be ok car is lowered 25mm

9J is a little wide, I think you'd have to at least do the arch screw mod.

9" ET44 on the front is 26mm poke over OEM AND your lowered!!    :signLOL:

what would a better offset and width be? not really to clued up on wheel fitment haha

8J ET45 is a nice fitment and is common to find replicas in.

That offset is fine that width maybe a bit too much on coilovers. Rolling and pulling your archers would solve any issues though.
