Hi All,
So 2 months back I fitted a set of Depo projector headlights alongside a 4300k HID kit from HID's direct. All works perfectly and it's really made the front end of my car stand out.
Being a bit of a perfectionist I've noticed that due to the earth strips on each HID bulb there is a long shadow in the beam output.
Reading various forums it seems that this is a common issue and performing the 6 o'clock mod will prevent this issue as the earth strip will be in the 6 o'clock position.
Has anyone tried this or can offer any advice before I butcher my bulb holders? I will try and get my hands on a dremel, draw on the holder the piece I need to cut out and take it from there.
Any help is appreciated!

It's does the opposite for me lol... Focused a strong light beam so I believe between might be perfect... I hate my OCD lol

This isn't good news to me, I was expecting a quick fix! Maybe i could try the 3oclock mod in that case!
