I'd change from the nology's as they cause faults due to the resistance or something. I'll try and find the thread

Thank you buddy... very interesting read...

I also went with Nology as recommended, but a week after selling the car the Throttle Body supposedly gave up the ghost!

Very interesting.

But, if the new owner had changed back to NGK, would the TB have worked or was it goosed anyway? Would it have gone anyway?

OK will scrap the Nologys for future project then  :signLOL:

390lbft and 355bhp at R-Tech.

I had nology plugs, they were ok at first but then gave me the symptons of a faulty TB. I spoke to Alex at AKS who supplied the plugs, he suggested going back to the Iridium 8s, which I did and that sorted the issue.

Have you fitted the latest PCV and DV revisions? Also how about a Oil Catch Can to prevent inlet port and valve carbon build up?

Also, I'd stay clear of R Tech. I've heard a few bad things from people in the know without a vested interested regarding their mapping techniques. I'd recommend Statller and a GIAC map  :happy2:

They (nology) deffo don't work with okada plasma coils and Alex has also seen them cause fire in OEM coilpacks, so it's a no go to use them

I think you have got r-tech muddled up with another tuner

THOUSANDS of threads on here with great feedback and amazing Dyno graphs prove the facts. The fact they NEVER, EVER get bad feedback on here proves that this is a load of b0llocks

If you did hear something about R-Tech, it was probably started by someone that has lost customers to them  :P

Lots of tuner wars going on  :popcornsoda:

Did you own an old Seat Leon Back in 2007, which was an APP with K03 which had huge crack in engine code by any chance?

no wrong George..

You are George ***badger5fan**** who 2 years ago was asking me for help and advise on facebook saying you was looking to book in with me for a remap, then went to Revo, but now telling people to use Giac?

Can you shed some light on these issues dude? I would like to see links and facts? or is it just hear say??
Title: Re: Predicted bhp?

Revo tuned by Bill at Badger 5 looking at his recent threads.

There's your reason  :happy2:

I remember reading on Facebook that Badger 5 had produced a 1.8t manifold and it was a FAIL (proven by Niki). This is why he's taken to slagging off R-Tech rather than admitting fault with his products and sorting it.

I'm welcome to my own opinion. I don't think it's very professional for Niki to publish my full name on a forum.

Surely can only be an opinion if you have a bad experience with one of Niki's maps? You didn't have a map. . .

Speculation otherwise  :popcornsoda:

and it was Bill at badger5 doing the slagging off again....lol  Fat snake.

I am Bills biggest competitor (in his eyes) but I have no competition because I offer a unique service in limited numbers.  I dont want to do lots of maps just good ones.

I used to help him so lots of Bills maps are on the back bone of my stuff......and Jabba, and Custom Code and Stealth racing ect....lol But we fell out due to his copy JBS manifold failing and causing issues with melted turbines and being close on 100hp down on the quoted power.   I stood up for the customers running this manifold telling them to hold fire and don't fit them ect.  I turned around £4900 worth of custom maps away which ran this manifold that was causing major issues.  The result was a dent in £30K+ Bill was set to make on the sale of the manifolds over the years,  He did not have the Balls to own up there was an issue which has now caused 7-8 cars to have major issues.    Instead Bill went around slagging everyone off who was involved with the manifold debate, me other sellers, hardware builders ect... trying to pass the blame on to make his fat arse look good.

I know the info has come from Bill due to how you have said "mapping method"   the exact same think he said to a customer/mate who went down there a few weeks ago to collect injectors from B5, My name was mentioned and Bill went off into slagging off mode.  But he did not know his customer for injectors was sent there by me and all the info got back to me the following day.

So before making slanderous comments against a trade mark in public please get your facts right and not listen to BS from a guy taking your money and telling you what you want to hear.....

Niki is the master everyone knows this, I've also had my old golf mapped by b5 and what a load of sh*t that was so rtech is THE only tuner I will rely on for future vws ;)

You are happy to mention my name and company.

You are happy to give a view based on what someone else told you not a first hand opinion....

And I don't class my self as a professional on the forum.... more of a member / mate who has an awesome hobby which is my job..

So when you get 5 mins dude please add more to the comments you made,   If I am going wrong i need to know so I can brush up and make better if there is an issue with my work then customer come to me straight away and get looked after and advised.   90% if my TFSI customer have come from this forum so I am sure if somthing was wrong it would be on here.

If you read the forum there have been a few customer with issues post mapping.... and all have been  hardware issues which with forum members and my advice have all been sorted.....

Its just back fired on the tuner who was fixing your misfire issue on his dyno whilst slagging me off.

By the Way George when did you have a Giac map on your car?  They are very good strong maps..... but don't see why u put R-tech down and recommend a company which you personal have not used?  I thought you have Revo?  correct me if I am wrong but if I am correct then please explain why you mentioned Giac?   let me guess hear say??

I wouldnt bother with a hybrid... either get the most out of the k04 or get a BT.
